Licking County Trauma Informed Approaches Summit
Denison’s Center for Health and Wellness is hosting the Licking County Trauma Informed Approaches Summit.
The summit is a collaboration with The Licking County Probate-Juvenile Court, Mental Health & Recovery of Licking & Knox Counties, and The Licking County Bar Association, and approximately 200 guests actively involved in our community will be present.
The Summit will provide attorneys, law enforcement, judges, and social service workers in Licking County with up-to-date and relevant trauma-informed education.
It is through this summit and other trauma-informed initiatives that Licking County providers hope to increase dialogue and reconcile perspectives from multiple disciplines.
The inspiration for this Summit began a little more than two years ago when a diverse group of community leaders in Licking County met to discuss how trauma was impacting each of their respective professions. The Licking County Trauma Informed Approaches Summit was formed in order to provide our community and its various practitioners with up-to-date, relevant trauma-related education.
This valuable training is provided free of charge to our community partners and will provide 6 hrs. of CEU credit.
