The Wellness Center at Whisler Hall provides an range of medication services.
Over the Counter medications:
We have a small formulary of common prescription and over-the-counter (OTCs) for acute care.
Our clinicians can provide written prescriptions for chronic (maintenance) medications, as well as for acute care if desired. We have a local pharmacy within walking distance from campus.
We require records from your treating physician, and you will be required to have regular appointments with our medical director to maintain your schedule of these medications.
The Wellness Center at Whisler Hall carries the following vaccinations/immunizations, as ordered by a medical provider.
- Hepatitis B
Charges for vaccines will be posted to your account. Our nurse practitioners or physicians can prescribe other immunizations as needed.
The Licking County Health Department also provides immunizations, including those needed for travel abroad.
You are required to have a completed record of immunizations against certain vaccine-preventable diseases as a condition of enrollment. If documentation is not available, re-immunization or laboratory evidence of immunity is required.
