For after-hours medical health care: A triage RN is available after 10 p.m. for emergencies. The triage RN will take a care assessment, and if needed, the on-call provider can be called for medical and/or treatment orders. If warranted, the triage RN will direct you to a local Urgent Care facility, or will call the Granville EMS to transport you to the local emergency room for evaluation and care.

Licking Memorial Hospital is located approximately 10-15 minutes from campus. Students who are sent to the Emergency Department by Health Services are asked if they would like someone from the Denison Administrative Staff to meet them in the Emergency Department to offer support while they are being evaluated. Students who are sent to the Emergency Department for evaluation are offered a return trip back to Student Wellness by Courtesy Ambulette service.
