An MSN Lifestyle blog recently scouted the 50 “cutest towns” in the country. And - you guessed it- Granville came out on top for the great state of Ohio.
Denison’s hometown is just half an hour east of Columbus, the 14th largest city in the nation, but it retains the small-town charm of an idyllic college town.
Denison students are in a unique place - very few leading national liberal arts colleges are located so close to a major urban area. Our proximity to Columbus means that students have access to great internships, education and research opportunities, a thriving arts community (a Denison student recently starred in a Columbus production of “Fun Home”), and of course, a vivid night life and shopping scene.
All this, while living in a quintessential college town with sidewalks full of cafe tables, coffee shops and the perennial favorite, Whit’s frozen custard.
