Technology Tips for First Year Students

Advice & Tips

Welcome to Denison!

As the organization responsible for supporting technology on-campus, we wanted to provide a few quick technology tips we hope you will find helpful.

If you are registered to attend June-O, make sure to bring your cell phone or other device that you registered for Duo two-factor authentication with you! You will be logging into MyDenison and related services and will need to approve your login through Duo.

If you anticipate buying a computer this summer, check out Denison’s computer spec recommendations. This page also includes links to online stores for vendors that offer discounts to Denison students like Apple, Dell and HP.

Don’t buy Microsoft Office! Denison provides Microsoft Office at no cost. Denison’s Office 365 agreement allows you to install it on up to 5 PC or Mac computers.

You can find more information online in the Denison Technology Guide for Incoming Students.

If you have any technology questions or problems, please don’t hesitate to contact the ITS Service Desk.

We look forward to seeing you on campus.
