TransGeneration is an eight-episode documentary film series that follows the lives of four transgender college students during the 2004-05 school year as they attempt to balance college, their social lives, and their struggle “to merge their internal and external selves” while undergoing their gender transitions. The Center for Women and Gender Action will be showing excerpts from the series and facilitating conversation afterwards.

The film series won the GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Documentary and has been described as "groundbreaking" and "mesmerizing." Critics have also praised the series as providing and importantly complicated depiction of the lives of trans peoples.
