Spring Poster Fair (5/3/18)
The Spring Semester 2018 Psychology Department Poster Fair will be held on Thursday, May 3 in Knobel Hall. Students from three courses presented the finding of their empirical research projects in psychology: Developmental Psychology, Organizational Psychology, and Psychology of Thinking. These courses are taught by Drs. Steiner, Pryzybla, and Chin-Parker, respectively.
A 200-level research course is required for all psychology majors and minors. Each course provides students with an opportunity to engage in empirical research related to a specific domain of psychological science. Students design at least two empirical studies, collect and analyze data, and report their findings in an APA style manuscript and a poster session. Most students complete these courses during their 2nd or 3rd year in the college.
