Honors Day Speaker Discusses Physics in Our Daily Life

Lectures & Discussions

David T. Clark '99, Commander, U.S. Navy, will discuss Physics in Real Life: The Navy, Parenting and Beyond!

It's been nearly 20 years since I left Olin Hall with a Bachelors of Science in Physics, and since then I've observed many of the obvious and not-so-obvious ways being a physicist influences me every day. In this talk, I'll be sharing examples of the ways Physics will forever improve the way we solve problems no matter the profession or life we choose after college and beyond.

David Clark, a Denison alum and Commander in the U.S. Navy returned to take part in our Honors Day celebration. His presentation in Olin 114 was followed by dinner and award presentations to the students of the Physics and Astronomy Department.
