Your ego is stopping you from making progress. You need to accept that you don’t know in order to get to what you want to know. – Dr. May Mei
Why Physics?
It’s basically magic. It enables you to predict a lot of things about the world, but it still has vast frontiers of unknow that I love exploring. I also love converting people from the “I could never do physics” attitude to the “Physics is really cool, and now I know why!” attitude.
Personal slogan:
Everything that works in theory works in practice, in theory.

Jane Bright

Hometown: Boulder, Colorado
Positions Held:

Why Physics?
I decided I wanted to be an astrophysicist when I was 11, and it has only become more interesting over the years. I am fascinated by the workings of the universe, inspired by how much we have managed to discover, and humbled and motivated by how much we still have yet to know. Also, astronomy is the only class that is offered at Denison that is also offered at Hogwarts.
