Reenergizing chamber music with new compositions and interpretations, the NOW Ensemble visits Denison for a short-term residency from Monday, Feb. 12, through Wednesday, Feb. 14.
Now Ensemble will collaborate with students in academic classrooms in English, environmental studies and music students. They will hold master classes in clarinet, guitar, bass, viola, violin and piano. The visit will take a public turn with a NOW Ensemble concert at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 13.
Some of the class visits include:
- Creative writing class with Associate Professor Peter Grandbois
- First Year Writing: “Fairytales and Popular Culture” with instructor Marlaine Browning
- People and the Environment with Associate Professor Abram Kaplan
