Denison University presents the 14th Annual Bluegrass Festival concert featuring Missy Raines and the New Hip and Volume Five. Missy Raines is a 7 Time Bass Player of the Year, and is an excellent singer with a smokey and seductive voice. Volume Five is certainly blazing a red-hot trail on the bluegrass scene with their live stage performances and chart topping albums. Their new release, Drifter, on Mountain Fever Records, certainly demonstrates their various styles of bluegrass.

The Festival begins on Friday, February 9 with Missy Raines and the New Hip in Swasey Chapel at 7pm. The Festival continues on Saturday, February 10 with workshops beginning at 10:30 am through 2:30 pm in Burke Rehearsal Room. Volume Five will perform in Swasey Chapel at 7 pm on February 10.

All concerts and workshops are free and open to the public.
