Yusuf Ahmed ’16
I’m currently living in Amman, Jordan working for the Syria Recovery Trust Fund, a multi-donor development fund that rehabilitates critical infrastructure and reestablishes public service systems (e.g., water networks, health care, etc.) in Syria. I work in the communications department as a reporting specialist where I manage media relations, website/social media content, as well as the quarterly/annual reports informing donors of project updates. Prior to this, I worked with the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization’s cross-border South Syria project, where I worked on a project to create educational training videos for IDPs in South Syria on various agricultural concepts. I began working in this field with a USAID funded project focusing on preserving heritage sites in Jordan as a communications officer.
