Global snapshots by International Studies Majors, Thursday November,7 pm-8 pm Fellows 305
International Studies is interdisciplinary and encourages all of its students to view the world from various perspectives. Students are also driven to be broadly concerned with social, political, economical, and cultural processes, linkages, interdependencies, and power relations that connect individuals, communities, groups, states, and regions across the globe. Shared dilemmas and challenges tie the world's citizens together.
In today’s interconnected world, we need a deep appreciation of cultures as well as knowledge of languages, habits, and norms. Understanding global perspectives will be essential throughout the 21st century and beyond. Our students will be competing in a highly competitive global environment and Denison seeks to prepare them for that set of challenges.
