Catalina Hunt to present to Historical Society
The Granville Historical Society has changed the date of its program on Turkey to 7 p.m. Sept. 29, 2016, in the Robinson Research Center Meeting Room.
Catalina Hunt of Denison University will lead a discussion on the Turkish Coup Attempt in July and tensions between secularism and Islamic fundamentalists. A follow-up program on a Islamic Fundamentalism in Europe will be at presented 7 p.m. Sept. 30, at Kendal at Granville.
The society will also have its location, the Old Academy Building, open for a lemonade social, brief reenactments and a special exhibit from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday as part of the Ohio History Connection’s Open Door program.
