Denison Welcomes a Fulbright Scholar in Residence

Faculty

Dr. Taina Wewer from Finland will spend the 16-17 academic year at Denison University in the Department of Education. Her areas of expertise include curriculum development and reform as well as second language learners, linguistically and culturally sensitive instruction, and teacher education.

In Finland, she works at the Teacher Training School at the University of Turku where she educates Finnish teachers and teaches English.

She will be teaching courses at Denison as well as working with our faculty and the community on issues of educational reform. She will be joining us for the academic year.

The Fulbright Scholar in Residence program assists colleges and universities in internationalization efforts through international exchanges.
