Artful Pairing

Student News

Sam Scinta, ‘15 is pairing her Art History major with an Educational Studies minor, extending her learning beyond the classroom working as an intern in the Denison Museum. Museum interns work side by side with museum staff and gain invaluable experience for life after Denison.

Educational Studies minors can combine study of learning theory and social foundations of education with other areas of interest to prepare for careers in teaching, counseling, community education, law, and business, for example.

Studying education at Denison does not limit a person to just one sort of job or career. The Educational Studies minor requires twenty-four semester hours of course work, complements many areas of study, and fits well into one's broader liberal arts education.
