Caitlyn Battaglia ’13 is an Associate Manager at Nielsen within the Beverage Alcohol Practice Area; she has been with Nielsen since her internship during the summer of 2012. She has worked across a number of analytic spaces within Nielsen; including pricing, promotion, and marketing effectiveness.
Alex Mysiw ’14 is a Data Analyst at Columbus Crew SC. He works daily with the players and coaching staff to do analytics on anything and everything that gives the team the best chance to win each game. He works with players' health data as well as game-related data to predict performance, improve rehab strategies, and prevent injuries as well as help strategize game plans with the use of analytics.
Barnaby Nardella ’02 is currently Vice President of Product Management for State Auto Insurance in Columbus. Insurance is one of the most analytically challenging industries out there. It’s a lot of fun trying to better figure out who is going to get into a car accident and which businesses will have fire losses. The next step is trying to prevent these losses and we are making great advances leveraging loT enabled sensors to track how someone drives and if a pipe has burst.
Ryan Showalter ’99 has held several positions at various levels with leading Consumer Package Goods (Mondelez, Kraft Foods & Unilever) and Data Providers (84.51° and Nielsen). Currently Ryan is a client leader with 84.51°. Ryan leverages data, segmentations and tools to translate data into insights and connects insights into actionable recommendations. His experiences at Denison has been critical to his success. Denison’s liberal arts curriculum created the foundation for the thought, leadership, and growth mindset he has employed throughout his career.
