Choreography by Alexandra Rose '11 premieres in NYC
Selected as one of 12 choreographers nationwide, Alexandra Rose ‘11, a dance and economics double major at Denison, will have her work premiered at the Gibney Dance Center in New York City in August, 2016.
According to an article in The Valley Breeze: “Rose is a freelance artist in the field of dance who holds a B.A. in Dance and Economics from Denison University. Her experience includes performance, education, dance creation, and administrative work.
Alexandra has performed as a member of Fusionworks Modern Dance Company (R.I.), the State Ballet of Rhode Island, and as a freelance artist with ACW Dances in Arlington, Va.
Her choreography has been shown at the idance festival 2014 in Hong Kong, by Fusionworks Dance Company, and at multiple schools in the northeastern United States.”
