Join us for our second Dance Department Symposium as we welcome artist and choreographer Dr. Bebe Miller who will be presenting a lecture demonstration, Animal Citizen: a choreographic framework.

Dr. Miller has been engaging with the department all week: teaching a Master Class open to students, speaking in departmental theory courses, and working individually with department seniors. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to reconnect and collaborate with her.

“Dr. Miller’s vision of dance and performance resides in her faith in the moving body as a record of thought, experience and sheer beauty. Her aesthetic relies on the interplay of a work’s idea, its physicality, and the contributions of company members to fashion its singular voice.” - Bebe Miller Company

Reception to follow demonstration.

Free and open to the public. Please join us in welcoming Dr. Miller.
