Belgian choreographer and Vail Guest Artist Anneleen Keppens discusses her work and her research in the making of ‘The moon is the moon is the moon’. In her work. she looks for a balance between, on the one hand pure, abstract dance and on the other, legibility and transparency. ‘The moon is the moon is the moon’ is a dance that seeks to deepen the experience of the viewer. At the basis of the performance lies a complex dance trio. Anneleen, aided by the performers of Keppens Company, will present and discuss the methods behind the making of this work.
