HOLDING PATTERNS – Feature Film Screening
Sat. April 15 at 7:00pm, Gateway Film Center (1550 N. High St., Columbus, OH 43201)
HOLDING PATTERNS is an anthology feature film exploring the lives of people across the U.S. in the wake of a tragic plane crash. Students in Professor Wiskemann’s junior/senior production seminar “Fundamentals of Feature Filmmaking” directed the short films making up the anthology.
In the advanced directing course, students selected a short film script that spoke to them (written by Professor Wiskemann or Cinema’s Departmental Liaison Gina Marie Ezzone), and brought the story from page to screen following their own directorial vision. The student filmmakers also worked with professional actors and cinematographers, including Denison alumnus Ori Segev ’14.
The students whose work will premiere include: Daniel Critchfield ’17, Caroline DeBoer ’17, Jabari Johnson ’17, Andy Quinlan ’18, Treasure Thomas-Castile ’18, Greg Watson ’18, and Allie Vugrincic ’17.
The screening is free and open to the public. Tickets are available for pick up at the Gateway’s box office.
