Vail Artist Rona Yefman visiting March 8 at 6:30pm
Rona Yefman was born in Israel and since 2007 is a New York based artist, working in Photography, Video and Installation. Rona’s work explores social, political and personal issues of identity through a range of human experiences by collaborating with individuals who have formed Radical personas that inscribe the iconic and the absurd of our time. She received her BFA at Bezalel Academy for Art and Design, Jerusalem and MFA from Columbia University School of the Arts in New York City in 2009. Since 1999 she has been exhibiting her work in galleries and art institutions both nationally and internationally. Rona is currently a mentor at the graduate program of Columbia University School of the Arts, NY. Her first Artist Book, Let it Bleed (1995-2010), an extensive body of work that highlights siblings relationships and gender transformation was published in 2016 by Little Big Man Books, LA, CA.
