Two Art History alums had a “Denison” moment in Barcelona in early October, 2016. Jill Kennedy Kernohan '96 and Jennifer Seeds Martin '86 met unexpectedly at the Museu Picasso, both of them there on behalf of their museums.

Kernohan was supervising the loan of a Picasso from the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and Martin was overseeing a loan of two works from the Columbus Museum of Art. Both are registrars at their respective museums.

Martin noted, “It was wonderful meeting Jill and completely unexpected that she would also be a Denison alum! I think the experience I had with the collections at the Denison Museum and the knowledge from my art history courses provided a great foundation for my career.”
