Full Description: GRANVILLE, Ohio—Denison University’s chapter of Sigma Xi, the national scientific research society, welcomes Dr. Arielle Sheftall presenting “Research on Adolescent Suicidal Behavior: The Facts, the Figures, and What’s Next,” at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16, in the auditorium of Higley Hall (100 Ridge Road). Though the presentation is free and open to the public, it is suggested that it is best for people 13 years of age and older. Matthews said, “We are excited that Dr. Sheftall has recently earned a grant from the National Institutes of Health for her mental health research and look forward to her sharing that research with us.” Dr. Sheftall is a postdoctoral research fellow with Nationwide Children’s Hospital whose area of research includes adolescent suicide behaviors.
