Full Description: The Department of Physics and Astronomy welcomes Timothy Gay presenting "Football Physics," a series of one-minute physics lectures given to the fans that attended the University of Nebraska home football games. The topics covered will range from gyroscopic motion, to ionizing collisions between linebackers and I-backs, to concussion abatement. The problem of simultaneous edification and amusement of the fan in the stands will also be considered. Free and open to the public.
