Student Spotlight
Antrim Ross

Philosophy, political science and economics major Antrim Ross ’16 shares her thoughts on her major.

PPE - Philosophy

Philosophy challenges students to move beyond uncritical patterns of thought, to recognize problems, and to exchange a more naive world view for a more considered and justifiable one. In doing so, students learn to think in ways that are simultaneously both disciplined and imaginative.

PPE - Political Science

The Political Science curriculum allows students to explore political theory and issues in the United States and around the world through courses ranging from the U.S. Congress or Presidency to courses on Russia or Terrorism to politics of developing nations, human rights or the global environment.

PPE - Economics

Denison's Department of Economics is ranked among the nation's top economics programs for undergraduates by Change Magazine.  The curriculum focuses on helping you to develop an understanding of the institutional, analytic and empirical framework within which economic decision-making occurs.

Marx’s wide influence across disciplines was celebrated during a two-day event.
