Financial Transparency
Each member of a fraternity or sorority agrees to be fiscally responsible as a student and as a member of their chapter. We provide membership dues information below to help you make financially responsible decisions.
Annual membership dues/fees may include local and international membership dues, council dues, facility fees, and other one-time fees such as initiation or new member fees. The charts below provide you with financial information by council. They include high, low, and average costs within that council.
While fraternity and sorority facilities are not considered housing, organizations may charge a fee associated with the upkeep of University-owned or privately owned facilities. These fees go towards rental agreements and/or general maintenance of the facility. All questions regarding facility fees should be directed towards the organization’s housing manager or local house corporation board.
