Denison does provide off campus interviews. By providing the information on this form, it will help us to serve you more accurately.

Submit Application Part I of the Denison Application online or by mail. Part I is a simple one-page form that will allow us to begin your application file. There is no fee required with Part I. International students are not required to submit Part I.

Submit the Common Application along with the Denison Supplement (Part III). The Supplement can be found on the Common Application website once you have added Denison to your list of schools. If you complete the Common Application online, we will waive the $40 application fee. If you prefer to send in a hard copy, you will need to visit Common Application Forms to print off the application. Please include a $40 application fee with the hard copy and mail it to: Denison University, Admissions Office, P.O. Box 740, Granville, Ohio 43023.

Admission to Denison is based on a holistic review of your application. Additional materials that you voluntarily include will only enhance the overall picture we see of you. We focus primarily on your academic history, but appreciate the insight into your personal high school experience that supplemental information can provide. We ask that you please include the Common Application Fine Arts Supplement form as a cover page along with your supplement.

The quality of your academic performance, the rigor of courses selected and your grade-point average are the most important factors considered by the Admissions Committee. Submission of the results of the SAT I or the ACT is optional. Students who elect not to submit either an ACT or SAT are strongly encouraged to interview either on campus or with an area alumni representative.

Choosing a college or university is different from other decisions you will make. The school you choose will leave its mark on you, telling people something about you before you are even introduced. Your college or university will admit you to a particular company of alumni, present you with a particular range of options and opportunities, and open a particular set of doors for your future.

Denison University participates in the Advanced Placement Program (AP) sponsored by the College Entrance Examination Board (CEEB).

To be evaluated favorably for transfer credit as an Art History GE or major/minor credit, the course should meet the following criteria.

In general, the Summer Scholars Programs at Denison permit students to pursue full-time independent research under the close supervision of a faculty member for ten weeks during the summer.

The Athletic Training Educational Program at Denison University is a rigorous and intense program that places specific requirements and demands on the students enrolled in the program.

Throughout the last three years our ATEP has a 100% first time pass rate on the national BOC examination for athletic training.

Curricular Practical Training (CPT) is employment, which is an “integral part of the established curriculum”. Such training is defined as, “alternate work/study, internship, cooperative education or any other type of required internship or practicum which is offered by sponsoring employers through cooperative agreements with the school”. The student must have been lawfully enrolled on a full-time basis for at least nine consecutive months before applying for CPT. The employment/internship must be directly related to your field of study.
