Red Thread Grants
Through the generous contributions of alumni, Denison is able to offer financial support for students, including grants, for a variety of both on- and off-campus experiences and needs.

The Red Thread Fund provides support for campus engagement and for co-curricular experiences (typically on-campus) as well as emergencies and hardships. These may include but are not limited to: Emergency and hardship expenses such as medical, dental and vision care not covered by insurance; seasonal clothing such as winter apparel; transportation (excluding regular break transportation). Campus engagement and co-curricular expenses such as club fees, uniforms, tickets to CLIC sponsored events in Columbus.

If you would like to donate to the Red Thread Fund please consider a one-time or monthly gift. If you would like to designate your gift for the “Emergency Assistance Fund” you can specify on the form. Thank you for your donation.

Horizon Fund
The Horizon Fund provides support for enrichment opportunities related to academic and co-curricular interests. These opportunities, such as attending a professional conference, typically take place off campus.
The Horizon Fund also supports Individual and group enrichment projects unrelated to Denison student organization activities or for-credit academic work.
Special assistance funds are also available through the Knowlton Center for Career Exploration, The Lisska Center for Intellectual Engagement, and the Center for Global Programs.
