Denison Theatre will continue its fall season with “Something’s Afoot,” a play adapted from Agatha Christie’s “Ten Little Indians.” The play will run Thursday through Saturday, Nov. 13-15, and Monday through Thursday, Nov. 17-20. All performances will be held in the Ace Morgan Theatre (211 West College Street) at 8 p.m. Tickets are $8 for general admission; $6 for Denison faculty and staff; $5 for senior citizens; $4 for non-Denison students; and free for Denison students.
The actors in the production are Denison students and are under the direction of Jonathan Putnam, the associate artistic director of the Contemporary American Theatre Company (CATCO) in Columbus.
“Something’s Afoot” takes place at an English country house where guests are gathered to attend Lord Dudley Rancour’s party. However, the get-together takes a turn for the worst when the butler announces in the middle of the party that Lord Rancour is dead. The wild musical spoof tries to figure out “whodunit,” as it’s not obvious that something is surely afoot.
