Beta Theta Pi was the first fraternity to build uphill following the 1925 plan for the new Fraternity Row.

An architecturally unique campus hall, Beta House was the residence of Denison Trustee and former U.S. Senator Richard Lugar ’54 of Indiana, who continues to remain involved with the college and Denison’s Beta chapter.
