The following timetable is a guide for students who plan to apply to law school.

Our faculty and staff developed the Denison Learning Guide that encourages students to do 10 things: ask questions, manage their time, follow their heart, be creative, respect others, take risks, maintain their integrity, show courage, take care of themselves, and enjoy it all. At its core, the Guide asks students to pay attention to three dimensions of a Denison education: academics, experiences, and community.

The library accepts unrestricted donations of library materials for review. Items are accepted with the understanding that they will be handled in the best interest of the institution. Once given to the library, donations cannot be returned to the donor. Potential donors should provide in advance a list of materials being offered so that their value to the collection may be reviewed.

Is there an item that you'd like to see in the Doane Library collection? This online form is just one of many ways for you to request that we purchase a specific book, video, audio recording, or other media. Note that this form isn't suitable for rush requests or reserve requests.

A Licking County Scholar is defined as one currently completing his/her senior year at a Licking county High School, having earned a high school GPA of 3.4 or above, and is simultaneously registered for one college level course at Denison University. No application fee is required. If after any semester a Licking County Scholar’s semester average is less than 2.00, his or her eligibility for participation in this program shall be terminated.

Track One focuses on the workings of American national government and offers a congressional internship as well as coursework.

Track Two focuses on United States foreign policy and international affairs and offers coursework in foreign policy, comparative politics and international politics, as well as internships with the Washington Semester Program.

The Make It Happen! workshop will consist of classroom presentations, discussions, and field trips. Participants are encouraged to identify an area of interest that they can use as a focus for their work during the workshop and beyond.

Three traditional meal plans (A, B, and C) are available to all students. In addition to those, three Apartment Alternative Plans (1, 2, and 3) are available to students living in meal-optional housing (apartments and Homestead). One additional plan, the SRH Plan, is available only to seniors graduating in Fall 2014 or Spring 2015 who do not live in an apartment.

Med School Application Requirements

If you would like to initiate a voluntary withdrawal from Denison for medical, personal or other reasons, you must complete an Exit Form and then contact  to schedule an exit interview. If you are requesting a withdrawal for medical purposes, you must also complete a Medical Leave Form form prior to your meeting.

Full-time employees are eligible for the medical and dental plans with a contribution from Denison.  The document shows a comparison of the 2012 and 2013 premium rates.

To provide a plan to inform Denison University students who reside in on-campus housing, the College policy governing required notifications within twenty-four (24) hours after the time a student is deemed to be missing. This plan is to comply with the August 14, 2008 Higher Education Opportunity Act, Section 485 (j) by the U.S. Department of Education.

Are you interested in further information about Music at Denison? Please fill out the Prospective Student Form and a representative from the Music Department will contact you to assist with any questions you may have.

Complete and return this form if you are interested in participating in one or more of the musical ensembles at Denison or are interested in taking private lessons with a member of the music faculty. Even if you do not choose to complete this form, you can still sign up for lessons and ensembles through the second week of the semester. However, this form helps by giving us an early idea of which and how many students are planning to participate in music at Denison and what their abilities and interests are at the start.

Denison's Neuroscience Concentration is designed to offer students an interdisciplinary perspective on the nervous system and behavior, and to provide students with the opportunity to obtain a diverse focus that both complements and broadens the major. Students wishing to pursue the Neuroscience Concentration are strongly encouraged to meet with a Neuroscience faculty member very early in their Denison careers to carefully plan their course of study.
