Any Licking County resident over 30 years of age may become a Denison University Community Scholar. A Community Scholar may enroll in only one non-credit course per semester. There is no limit to the number of semesters for which a scholar may enroll. Registration is on a space-available basis.
Denison's Neuroscience Concentration is designed to offer students an interdisciplinary perspective on the nervous system and behavior, and to provide students with the opportunity to obtain a diverse focus that both complements and broadens the major. Students wishing to pursue the Neuroscience Concentration are strongly encouraged to meet with a Neuroscience faculty member very early in their Denison careers to carefully plan their course of study.

Upon reinstatement, Denison expects that you will return to good academic standing by the end of no more than two semesters. This means that: 1) You must earn above a 2.0 each semester, and 2) By the end of two semesters at Denison, your cumulative GPA must improve to a 2.0 or above.
