Fire drills are conducted in residence halls twice each calendar year in the spring and fall. The goal of an idling policy at Denison University is to eliminate all unnecessary idling time by vehicles on campus to minimize harmful emissions. Implementing an idling reduction policy on campus is in line with Denison’s goal of reducing green house gas emissions.

At its core, the Guide asks students to pay attention to three dimensions of a Denison education: academics, experiences, and community.
