Denison University participates in the Advanced Placement Program (AP) sponsored by the College Entrance Examination Board (CEEB).
Any Licking County resident over 30 years of age may become a Denison University Community Scholar. A Community Scholar may enroll in only one non-credit course per semester. There is no limit to the number of semesters for which a scholar may enroll. Registration is on a space-available basis.
The course catalog provides descriptions of Denison's majors, minors and courses offered each academic year.
Upon reinstatement, Denison expects that you will return to good academic standing by the end of no more than two semesters. This means that: 1) You must earn above a 2.0 each semester, and 2) By the end of two semesters at Denison, your cumulative GPA must improve to a 2.0 or above. Denison University employees and spouses/same-sex domestic partners, who are non-degree seeking students (not admitted through Admissions) are eligible to participate in this program and take course work for credit or audit. A Licking County Scholar is defined as one currently completing his/her senior year at a Licking county High School, having earned a high school GPA of 3.4 or above, and is simultaneously registered for one college level course at Denison University. No application fee is required. If after any semester a Licking County Scholar’s semester average is less than 2.00, his or her eligibility for participation in this program shall be terminated.

If you are requesting a withdrawal for medical purposes, you must also complete a Medical Leave Form form prior to your meeting.
Students planning to seek reinstatement following academic suspension must contact the Registrar's Office prior to completing the Petition for Reinstatement form.
When registering for classes, students carefully need to consider needs in their major, general education possibilities, prerequisites, and hierarchical structures of some programs.
