Choosing a college or university is different from other decisions you will make. The school you choose will leave its mark on you, telling people something about you before you are even introduced. Your college or university will admit you to a particular company of alumni, present you with a particular range of options and opportunities, and open a particular set of doors for your future.
At Denison, champions achieve in labs and classrooms as well as in stadiums. To us, a champion’s words are just as powerful as a game-winning goal or a bone-crushing tackle. Scholars, athletes, teachers, coaches, entrepreneurs, doctors, lawyers, politicians, scientists, activists—all can be champions, and at Denison, they are.
The Denison Alumni Recruiting Teams is an organization of concerned alumni who contribute their knowledge of the University and enthusiasm for the education they received at Denison to prospective students, parents, secondary school administrators, and guidance counselors.
Founded in 1831, Denison University has a reputation for challenging academics. However, energetic, discussion-oriented classes and dedicated faculty are just part of what distinguishes Denison’s programs. Take a closer look and you’ll discover that Denison combines outstanding classroom experiences with opportunities to test knowledge in the real world.
As an intellectual community, Denison’s vitality lies in inquiry and exploration—in consistently seeking out new understandings and points of view. Therefore, we see not just the value but the necessity of fostering a community of diverse individuals: students, faculty and staff of varying backgrounds, religions, ethnicities, abilities and worldviews who all recognize the importance of sharing their unique insights and ideas. Every voice speaks to a new perspective, so every voice matters.
