Denison University is committed to making all aspects of the institution—inside the classroom and out—a community characterized by honesty, integrity, and responsibility. That commitment was reaffirmed when Denison students developed and proposed the Code of Academic Integrity, which the faculty adopted unanimously in 2008.

Denison University is dedicated to student learning and to the development of ethically responsible persons who contribute to the development of strong communities, including on our own campus. Inherent in this is the requirement that community members act not merely in response to their individual inclination, but also in accordance with shared values and principles.

To report a concern for a student, complete the Advocate CareNetwork Report form, filling in the information requested.  If you have any questions after completing the report form, feel free to contact the Dean of Students or the Vice President for Student Development.

The responsibilities listed here are legal requirements for the College under the Title IX legislation of 1972 which requires among other things that Colleges and universities investigate and act on knowledge of sexual assault—including educating and training campus personnel about their respective roles and responsibilities for reporting incidents.

Denison University is committed to protecting the privacy of students' personal information as outlined in the University Privacy Policy. Denison respects students' right to privacy and recognizes its obligation to keep student information secure and confidential.
