ABOUT THE PRESENTATION“Immense Invaders: Burmese Pythons in Southwest Florida”

Dr. Paul Andreadis and Mr. Bartozek have been collaborating with several organizations, including the Naples Zoo and Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, to develop a database of movement and habitat use of the Burmese Python in Southwest Florida. In the course of their inquiry, they have removed hundreds of Burmese Pythons from various locations in Southwest Florida.

These two renowned biologists will discuss the latest in this important research and how they are working to slow the spread of this invasive animal.
