    Artist Talk: Maria del Mar Gonzalez

    The Department of Studio Art welcomes María del Mar González, associate director of the CUAC in Salt Lake City, presenting “Registering Globalization: Medium as Model at the Poly/Graphic Triennial of San Juan.” González holds a B.A. in visual arts from the University of Puerto Rico, an M.A. in art history from Indiana University, and a Ph.D. in modern and contemporary art history from the University of Illinois. Trained as an art historian, her work focuses on modern and contemporary art with an interest in the intersection of art and politics.
