‘Eight Years of Piloting Advising Circles’

The Tuesday Lunch Series welcomes Mark Moller, dean of first-year students, presenting “Eight Years of Piloting Advising Circles: What Have We Learned So Far?”

Few programs are “piloted” for eight years, and yet we have been piloting versions of Advising Circles since the fall of 2008. This discussion highlights the successes and challenges we have encountered in developing this advising program, what we have learned so far about its impact on helping first-year students transition successfully to Denison and how we see this program developing over the next few years.
