The Tuesday Faculty Lunch Series welcomes Jeff Kurtz, associate professor of communication, Erik Farley, associated dean and director of cross cultural, multicultural student affairs, and John Davis, assistant professor of Anthropology & Sociology, presenting “Of Black Men and Meaningful Mentoring: Lessons from an Off Campus Excursion.”

In September of this year six colleagues and these men made an off-campus excursion to the Todd A. Bell National Resource Center on the African American male, one of the pre-eminent sites for research on African American men across the lifespan. They had the distinct privilege of spending a full day with representatives from the Center. Their talk will rehearse the highlights of our visit and suggest potential lessons for Denison.
