Full Description: The Tuesday Lunch Series welcomes Barry Keenan, professor of history, presenting "Avoiding the Vietnam Tragedy: An Historical Postmortem.” Historians have developed new perspectives regarding U.S. policies of intervention in Vietnam thanks to newly de-classified Cold War documents. What would have allowed policy makers to see the consequences of commitments to a non-communist Vietnam when those policies were made? Open to emeriti faculty, faculty and staff.
