Full Description: The Department of Computer Science welcomes students of all ages to learn to write code in an "Hour of Code." The Hour of Code is a free one-hour international event that enables all ages to take part in and learn about creating code. Denison University’s Department of Computer Science has partnered with The Works: Ohio Center for History, Art & Technology to offer an Hour of Code to local residents. All ages are invited to attend; no experience or equipment is needed, and all skill levels are welcome. Participants will choose from a variety of fun self-guided coding tutorials for kindergarten and up, featuring fun topics such as Disney’s Frozen, Scrat from Ice Age, Angry Birds, and Plants vs. Zombies.
