    Full Description: The Ronneberg lecture welcomes Brent Iverson, undergraduate dean of College at the University of Texas, Austin and professor of chemistry and biochemistry, presenting 'A cure for late stage anthrax infection.' What do snakebites and sled dogs have in common with a cure for late stage anthrax? A cure for late stage anthrax was developed by engineering an antibody against a key anthrax toxin. The technology required to accomplish this combined state-of-the-art molecular biology with more familiar ideas that have been around for a long time. Free and open to the public.
