As video game playing is growing in popularity across all ages of the population these question are becoming increasingly relevant. Please join us as Rebecca Achtman discusses her research demonstrating that individuals who play action video games show superior performance compared to their non-game playing peers. Learn more about how video games are changing the way we see and interact with the world. Free and open to the public. Rebecca Achtman is a visiting assistant professor in the Department of Psychology at Denison University. Her research combines behavioral and brain imaging approaches to study brain plasticity. She is interested in how we learn and how the brain changes with experience.
