Service Learning Advisory Committee (SLAC)

From its inception, the Alford Center for Service Learning has relied upon faculty to provide the energy, the spirit of pedagogical innovation, and the commitment to the  ideals of service and education to supply the driving force behind curricular service learning at Denison . Although we enjoy strong administrative support, service-learning is a faculty initiative at Denison . The Service-Learning Advisory Committee (SLAC) was formed to discuss policy issues, pedagogical development, faculty awareness and training, and experiences with classes.
