Jobs on Campus
Denison understands that students' primary commitment is to their education. Student employment is designed to enhance students' college experiences, offering new skills and extra money for spending or for contributing to the tuition bill. It is not, however, expected that students will sacrifice their academic success for their campus job.
The student employment job market on campus is competitive. It is the student's responsibility to seek employment as they will not be placed with a department.
Students interested in student employment will be able to search for a job through MyDenison. Entering First Year students may access job postings in mid-August when they receive their login credentials. Continuing students may view job postings when they move onto campus.

The 2013-2014 rate of pay for both Federal Work Study and Non-federal Work Study employees is $8.50 per hour. The maximum work award for federal and non-federal work-study employees is 300 hours in an academic year. For 2013-14, the maximum that a student may earn through work study is $2,550. Students are paid every two weeks by check or through direct deposit in to their personal checking or savings accounts. Students may also make arrangements with Student Accounts to authorize their earnings to be applied to their Denison account.
Students participating in the Work Study program are expected to read and abide by the guidelines established in the Student Employment Manual, available for current students in MyDenison.
