The Center for Religious and Spiritual Life is dedicated to fostering religious understanding and spiritual enhancement within the Denison community. We support experiences for the care and expression of all recognized religious traditions on campus. In celebration of our diversity, we also offer inter-religious experiences and dialogue which are central to the mission of the College.
We are a faith-based, Christian affirmation in assembly, working together, acting in authenticity, honesty and truthfulness, open to questioning and searching, with a commitment to service to one another and to the college community out of compassion and love.
Ecclesia, an ecumenical (all-denominational) Christian Chapel Program, is available to all members of the Denison community. Join us for Bible conversation, fellowship and prayer, over home-cooked dinner, each Wednesday evening (while classes are in session). These weekly gatherings are led by Chaplain Mark R. Orten and are held at The Open House.
Join Ecclesia each week during the academic year for home-cooked dinner and Bible conversation!
