The cultural fabric of Denison provides myriad experiences that enable students to not only learn more about each other, but to also learn more about themselves as individuals and as members of a global society. The Center for Cross-Cultural Engagement, comprised of the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs and the Office of International Student Services, assumes an active role in helping students find ways to connect.
The International Podcast Project team is excited to present Advice for First-Years from Denison Students: Keys to Success in the First Year.
Our podcast team consists of students from around the world who have found academic success, friends and a sense of belonging here at Denison University.
In this first series of talks, five students share advice designed to help new international students when they arrive at Denison. We hope friends, families, and the general public here and abroad will also find this information useful. Therefore, some of these recordings are bilingual. We hope you will enjoy listening to their answers and their stories.
The students on our team were asked two questions:
"What do you wish you knew when you first arrived here?"
"What advice do you have to help new international students succeed?"
