The Center for Women and Gender Action strives to affirm the multi-faceted identities of individuals, while also raising awareness of issues including but not limited to gender identity/expression, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, class, ability, national origin, women’s health, reproduction, gendered violence and how these issues intersect.
The Eating Disorder Intervention Team (EDIT) is an interdisciplinary team of professionals who work with Denison students to provide a comprehensive approach to the coordination of support services for Denison students who exhibit disordered eating and related behaviors.
The mission of EDIT is to provide consultation, support, and education. EDIT developed a set of procedural guidelines to promote consistent actions when assisting students with eating disorders. The guidelines are also intended to facilitate communication between departments and to support appropriate interventions.
